ETW’s engineering department is the driving force of our company.   

Our Team 

ETW focuses on growth and development from within the company. As a result, our engineers and programmers have a strong manufacturing background, averaging over sixteen years at ETW. Our entire engineering team has hands-on machining experience, which provides an end-of-the-line awareness of how the project and its parts need to be machined. 

CAD / CAM

We utilize the Siemens NX (formerly Unigraphics NX) CAD/CAM suite for integrated Design, Simulation, Manufacturing, and Inspection. This technology maximizes collaboration and creates a seamless transition from design to programming, machining, and inspection programming. This allows us to machine the CAD drawing exactly to the original specifications. NX streamlines and accelerates product development to allow reduced lead times for prototypes and short run orders.

NX files can be converted to and from DXF, IGES and other formats, so that we can easily exchange drawing files with the customer. In addition, our database of components has been built up over the last fifteen years, so we are able to utilize almost any hardware that is required.
